DMCA & Abuse Policy
UniqoHost LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and requires the same of our customers. This page explains how to report copyright infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and how we handle abuse reports in general.
1. DMCA takedown notices
If you believe content hosted on our infrastructure infringes your copyright, please send a notice that includes all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- The exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing material;
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

2. What happens next
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice we will:
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material;
- Forward the notice to the affected customer;
- Inform the customer of their right to submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
Repeat infringers' accounts will be terminated in accordance with our repeat-infringer policy.
3. Counter-notices
If you are a customer whose content has been removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was in error (for example, the material is licensed, fair use, or the notice was fraudulent), you may submit a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number;
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, and consent to accept service of process from the original complainant.
4. Abuse reports (non-DMCA)
For non-copyright abuse — spam, phishing, malware, DDoS, fraudulent content, or any violation of our Acceptable Use Policy — please email abuse@uniqohost.com. Please include:
- The type of abuse;
- The URL, IP address, or email headers showing the abusive activity;
- Timestamps (in UTC);
- Any other evidence you can share.
We investigate all confirmed abuse reports within 24 hours and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or account termination.
5. False reports
Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice or false abuse report may expose you to legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) or other applicable laws.
